A NEED FOR CHANGE

A NEED FOR CHANGE

We are living in a world where nothing is impossible.  The things people imagined a while ago have become reality today! The world has all advanced yet I find it hard to accept the fact that everything is possible. There are certain things that pass on from generations to generations. One such thing is the quota of RESPECT WOMEN. I’m waiting for a moment when the society stops saying the need to address “respect women” because a woman never wants to sympathize as weak or inferior person.  In fact, asking people to respect a woman, because she is a woman and not because she is also a human being is a direct backhand slap to women!  Our thinking and perspective for women will never change until we understand that equality is what should be allotted to both the genders rather than just being a feminist. One must understand that being or supporting feminism won’t change anything instead it will indirectly make the female gender inferior to the male gender.  However, I would like to conclude, women don’t need respect quota. They need equality. And so does men! One should focus on humanism rather than be supporting only feminism. Women shouldn’t be respected only because she is a woman, she should be respected because of she a human. One’s objective of giving respect should not be restricted to the gender they belong. This world needs humanism, and it needs a change.
